The second half or so of our main stage set 5/19 (also by mssr @Imperialkilgore). Includes songs about broken hearts, (metal-interludes), songs about apes, my balleriny-hopping and maybe some EPIC Animaniacs ;) i like how the lighting only enhances my black and white Boop-cartoon appearence. Those No-goodniks boys are certainly living ‘toons inhabiting the role perfectly, too.

5/18/2012 Steampunk World’s Fair cabaret stage, our premiere gig! shot by Amy Macabre on jojo’s dinky camera. get a load of these wonderful beautiful Emperor Norton’s Stationary Marching Band friends dancing like “The Poetettes” as Nate Greenslit put it.

“Pornival” was the gothest chords (and most obvi name) i cld come up with for Army of TOys’s “Dream Drome” RPM album. i guess you can’t cover a melody you came up with, so let’s call this a B-side to Sickert’s oil-slicked lyrics (http://armyoftoys.bandcamp.com/track/pornival)

(A party band worth rouging your knees for!) jojo The Burlesque Poetess has been seen at Steampunk World’s Fairs past in steamCRUNK phenomenon Walter Sickert & The Army of Broken TOys and as busking ruffian in The Tiny Instrument Revue. Known to rock out with her frock out on electric ukulele and flash frilly flapper behind - she’s here to front a vaudeville ‘n rollers musical experience featuring members of Army of Toys and Emperor Norton’s Stationary Marching Band. From the Boston salons & seance parlours they bring steam-glam tunes, wax cylinder favorites, futurtorian covers, and the inapproetry, perverse verse & commedia your burlesque poetess is known for. We are planning to premiere at The Steampunk World’s Fair (May 18-20, 2012 in NJ)— and to minstrel about for you on ukuleles, banjo, clarinet, and cocktail drum-kit.

On bass uke, banjo ~ Dylan Foley of ENSMB and Eight-Foot Manchild.
